Which U.S. Law Firms Hired the Most Lateral Partners Over the Past 12 Months?

With the flurry of big lateral moves lately such as Stroock’s entire financial restructuring group decamping for Paul Hastings, we took a closer look at our own lateral data (which is updated twice a week) to see which U.S. firms had the most activity over the past 12 months in recruiting the most lateral partners. Here’s what we found:

Which U.S. law firms hired the most lateral partnersThe firm that has brought on the most lateral partners was Kirkland & Ellis with 114 lateral partners in the last 12 months. (Kirkland has also been at the top of our Leopard Law Firm Index throughout the year.)

In second place was Lewis Brisbois with 98 lateral partners, followed by Greenberg Traurig with 68 partners, Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough with 66 and Goodwin at 58.
