Leopard Solutions' New Weekly Online Webinars Offers Legal Professionals Tips And Tricks On Using Web-based Legal Tools

Leopard Solutions is now offering free weekly video 'webinars' designed to help legal professionals research law associates using The Leopard List, investigate law firms with Leopard Reporting, find employment using the Leopard Job Search more effectively and stay up-to-date about the legal marketplace.

On Wednesday, July 23rd Leopard Solutions officially launched the first of several weekly webinars designed to educate legal professionals about how to effectively use Leopard Solutions web-based tools. The online webinars are free for all Leopard Solutions clients and their recruiters. Clients are invited to join these sessions every Wednesday at 4:00p.m. EST. With sessions that last 15 to 20 minutes the classes can easily fit into any busy schedule. Each webinar will tackle one Leopard Solutions feature or topic each week. The class schedule will be announced well in advance so that clients can 'drop in' for topics that most interest them.

While Leopard Solutions will continue to offer one-on-one training for all of their systems, the 'drop in' webinars will allow Leopard Solutions to efficiently keep clients up-to-date on new features and refresh their memory about features they only occasionally use.

Leopard Solutions Introduces "Leopard Chat', an Exciting New Video Feature

"Leopard Chat" offers in-depth video interviews with legal professionals from all facets of the industry. These informal 'chats' deliver interesting and informative facts in an entertaining format. The videos offer a personal touch, allowing viewers to 'meet' some of the important players in different aspects of the industry.

The first interview was with Marina Sirras, President of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC) and can currently be viewed on YouTube and from our client Leopard Library page. Marina discusses what her organization brings to the attorney hiring process. NALSC has set the standard for law firm recruiting for many years and instills a high level of integrity into the process.

Mark Dighton from the Practising Law Institute (PLI) was the guest in our second interview and it can also be found on YouTube or in our Leopard Library. PLI is 75 years young and is growing and changing with the times. Mark tells us how PLI is extending its scope and how CLE classes work for attorneys throughout the US. They have pioneered ways for law firms to insure that their attorneys attain required (and requested) CLE units. You may view Mark's interview, HERE.

The current Leopard Chat subject is Mary Kay Young of the Zeughauser Group. Mary Kay speaks about 'branding'. The Zeughauser Group is a marketing company for law firms, but the process of 'branding' extends beyond law firms or companies. She tells us how individuals can best market themselves while seeking a job, as well as how companies can give their 'product' a unique brand that will help them stand apart from their competition.

URGENT NEWS! The Supreme Court of the State of New York issued a ruling stating that "Unless you have been admitted to the bar of another state and you are reporting legal employment in that state, do not describe your position with a legal employer as that of "associate." The term associate is reserved for those who have been admitted to the bar. " This ruling is now being enforced and will impact how law firms will list their 'new hires' and thus how they enter The Leopard List. Some firms are taking them off their websites and some are now calling them 'law clerks'. We currently have New York associates in the system who do not yet have their NY bar admission. They will remain in our system, even though they may be removed from the firm's website. A new type of 'Associate*' will denote these records. We will monitor them as they receive their admission or possibly leave the firm. As firms comply with the ruling, we will be watching and keeping you informed.

NEW ENHANCEMENTS

We keep moving forward – working to give our clients the tools and information they need to stay on top. We have just added a NEW FEATURE to keep you on top or record changes.
