Expanding Your Recruiter Business With Your Existing Client Base

by Beverly Aarons 16. May 2011 08:18

Legal recruiters ready to expand their business, need to make sure that they are maximizing their revenue potential. One of the most obvious; but least utilities strategies for expanding a business is by expanding the services you provide your existing client base. Below are a few tips:

  1. Identify your most important clients. Important clients are those who consistently provide revenue to your recruiter business and have done so over the long-term.
  2. Once you have identified your top clients, analyze how you are currently providing services to their business. And then brainstorm which key problems your clients may be facing and whether or not you have the skills and resources to solve those problems.
  3. After you have made your own assessment of what you believe may be problems facing your top clients, conduct a brief survey with your client to find out if they agree. If you and your top clients agree that the problems you identified are in fact problems that need to be solved, precede to the next step.
  4. Package a service plan specifically designed for your top clients’ problems and present it to them as a possible solution. If your top clients agree to allow you to implement your strategies, then you would have effectively expanded your business without taking on new and untested clients.
