employers who are able to build powerful relationships with star job candidates
will be best positioned to compete now and in the future. But how do you build powerful and
authentic relationships with the top job candidates? Below are a few tips:

One
of the best ways to begin attracting and building powerful relationships with
the best job candidates to share the stories of your current employees or in
the case of recruiters, candidates that you have helped find employment. Consider posting those stories on your
website and even linking to that employee’s external blog if they have one.

Your
personal employee stories should not stand alone; include data to back up the
stories. For example, if your
employee/candidate testimonial talks about how they don’t envision ever leaving
your company, you may want to include data about how your company has a low
turnover rate. In the case of a recruiter,
you may want to include a job candidate testimonial about how you were quickly
able to place a candidate or place them in their “dream” job and then back that
up with data that says that you were able to place X amount of job candidates
in X amount of days in the past year.

Has
your company been reviewed on one of the external review sites for employers or
recruiters? If so, consider
including a link to your company’s review on the site. Job candidates put a lot of trust in
what 3rd party review sites have to say about employers and recruiters,
use that to your advantage.
